Peacefully at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital on Monday, April 13, 2015 of Mr. Elmer A. MacGillivray, of Montague, aged 88 years.
Dear father of Dianne (Basil) MacLeod, Jack (Jean Squires) MacGillivray, Carole (Ernie) Young, Bobby (Joanne Lete) MacGillivray and Cathy (Frank) Whitty. He is also fondly remembered by his sister, Mary Anstie, seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Beloved husband of the late Helen Anstie.
He is predeceased by his parents, Angus and Christina MacGillivray, also by his daughter, Linda Arbing, sisters, Frances, Harriet, Hilda, Olive, Leona, and brothers, Roy, Emmett, Joe and Bernard.
Resting at the Ferguson Logan Montague Funeral Home until Thursday morning, then transferred to St. Mary's Church, Montague for funeral mass at 10 a.m. Interment to take place later in the parish cemetery.
Visiting hours at the funeral home Wednesday from 6 to 9 p.m.
