E. Pauline Ingraham

INGRAHAM, E. PAULINE
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of E. Pauline Ingraham on April 13, 2015 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Pauline was in her 100th year and lived independently until her passing. Born on September 3rd, 1915 at home in “BlueRock” in Saint John’s Lower West Side, she was the eldest daughter of the late Arthur and Gertrude Robson.
She was predeceased by her first husband, E. Givan Anthony; second husband, George Ingraham; brother, Bruce Robson; sister, Ruth Edwards and daughter, Natalie Watts.
She is survived by daughter, Margot Ernst (Jack); son-in-law, Donald Watts (Janet); and seven grandchildren: John Ernst, Janet Raboud (Paul), Margo Cochrane (David), Cynthia Campbell (Allan), Lisa Cobb (Melvin), Keith Watts (Tammy), and Sharon Watts. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins, and nine great-grandchildren.
Pauline graduated from Saint John High School, married Givan and raised her two daughters. She later pursued a career as a Certified Drug Clerk, and worked in various Pharmacies throughout NB for over thirty years. In her younger years, she was a very active member of the Westside Kirk. She was a savvy business woman and had a keen interest in real estate. She travelled extensively worldwide, and also enjoyed her favourite hobby of shopping. She had a feisty personality and tenacious determination, enabling her to accomplish her goals and realize her dreams. Pauline was devoted to her loved ones and was a strong family matriarch. She was actively involved in the daily lives of her large extended family, and will be forever loved and missed.
Resting at Castle Funeral Home (Falls View Chapel) 309 Lancaster Avenue, Saint John, NB (634-1701), there will be visitation from 7 to 9pm Thursday, April 16th and the funeral service will be held at the Falls View Chapel on Friday, April 17th at 10am.
