Suddenly at his late residence in Halifax, on Tuesday, April 14, 2015, of Clifford Joseph Hogan, formerly of Tignish, age 76 years. Beloved husband of the late Marie (Rouzes), who predeceased him in October 2014. Born at Tignish, he was the son of the late Walter and Mary (nee Gavin) Hogan. He is survived by his siblings: Freda (Adrain), Sylvia (Bob), Susan (Ron), Paula (Barry), Wilma (Roger), Chris (James), Wilbert (Irene), Richard (Florence), Victor (Diane), Roy (Edith), and Brian (Bev). He is also survived by his stepchildren: Anita (Kenny), Helena (Terry), Diane (Les), Ruby (Brian), Guy (Barb), Lenny (Michelle), and Larry (Barb). He is also survived by several grandchildren and by his many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife, Marie, his parents, Walter and Mary, his brothers, Michael and Kenneth (in infancy), and by a stepdaughter, Linda. Resting at the Rooney Funeral Home, Alberton. Visiting hours Friday 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral on Saturday morning from St. Simon and St. Jude Church, Tignish, for funeral mass at 10:30 a.m., Rev. Brendon Gallant, celebrant. Interment in the church cemetery at a later date. As an expression of sympathy, memorials to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or to the Tignish Seniors Co-op Home would be gratefully appreciated.
