Joseph Price

PRICE, JOSEPH
Joseph Edward Price, 90, of Salisbury and formerly of Petitcodiac, passed away on April 16, 2015 at the Moncton City Hospital. Born on Creek Road, NB, Joe was a son of the late Arthur and Margaret (nee Currie) Price.
He was an accomplished well-driller for over 44 years, and a member of the New Brunswick Well Driller’s Association. He was a great inventor who was able to build things from whatever was at hand. Family was important to him, and no time was more precious to him than family gatherings.
Joe is survived by his wife Kathleen “Kay” Rogers Price; his children: Dawn Beaman (Doug) of Sussex, Garson Price (Colleen) of Petitcodiac, Blaine Price (Bonny) of Elgin, and Veronica “Roni” Price of Saint John; his step-daughter Nancy Cochrane (Lloyd) of Salisbury; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; as well as by several extended family members and friends.
Besides his parents, Joe was predeceased by his first wife Nada Price (nee Perry); his sisters: Elisabeth Price, Sophia Melvin, and Alice Price; his brothers: Freeman Price, Ernest Price, and David Price; and by his step-son Wayne Rogers.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the professional care of Armstrong’s Funeral Home, 33 Russell St, Petitcodiac, from where visitation will be held on Friday April 17, 2015 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. A Celebration of Joe’s Life will be held from Armstrong’s Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday April 18, 2015 at 11:00 am with Pastor Dennis Smith presiding. Interment will be held in Fair Haven Memorial Gardens at a later date.
Donations to the Friends of the Moncton Hospital would be appreciated by the family.
