FOUGÈRE, YVETTE
Yvette Fougère, 71, of Villa Providence, formerly of Chesley Street Shediac, passed away on April 19, 2015. Born in Shediac on September 30, 1943, she was the daughter of the late Arthur Doiron and Rita Pellerin.
Prior to her retirement, Yvette was the well liked canteen lady at the Shediac Hockey Arena.
She will be sadly missed by her spouse of 46 years, Allison Fougère; a daughter: Lisa Poirier (Mathieu) of Ste-Anne-de-Kent; three sisters: Hélène Gallant (late Camille), Geneva Smiley (Alan), Rachel LeBlanc (Roland) all of Shediac, several nieces and nephews and in-laws: Claudette Doiron and Emery Gaudet.
She is predeceased by two brothers, Philippe, Edouard; a sister, Stella; half-brothers and sisters: Mini, Juliette, Célina, Emery and Francis.
A chapel service with the Liturgy of the word will be celebrated at Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, 396 Main Street Shediac (532-3297) on Wednesday, April 22nd, 2015 at 1:30 followed by a reception for family and friends.
In memory of Yvette, a contribution to the Canadian Diabetes Association or to the Kidney Foundation of Canada would be appreciated.
