MacEACHERN, DONNA MAY
It is with great sadness the family announces the passing of Donna May (Carroll) MacEachern which occurred at the Saint John Regional Hospital on Saturday, April 18th, 2015 after a courageous battle with Cancer. Born 1947, In Saint John, she was the daughter of the late Cornelius and Dorothy (London) Carroll.
Donna worked as a Superintendant at Prince Edward Street Apartments for many years before retiring in 2012. She enjoyed fishing and loved taking Zackery to feed the squirrels at Rockwood Park.
Donna is survived by her daughter Karen MacEachern (Philip Comeau) of Saint John, son Bernard MacEachern of Saint John; brothers Stephen Carroll (Cathy) and David (Joanne) both of Saint John; grandchildren Corey and Zackery; as well as several nieces, nephews and friends.
Besides her parents, Donna was predeceased by her husband Bernard, brothers Charles and Allan Carroll and sister Irene Wright.
Arrangements are under the direction of Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road (646-2424) with visitation being held on Monday, April 20th from 6 to 8 p.m. and Tuesday, April 21st from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place from the Cathedral of Immaculate Conception on Wednesday, April 22nd at 12:10 p.m. followed by an interment at Cedar Hill Cemetery.
