Peacefully, at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, on Saturday, April 18, 2015, of Bernard P. Murphy of Park Hill Place, Summerside, and formerly of Springfield aged 55 years. Born in Charlottetown, June 23, 1959, son of Anna (MacDonald) Murphy, Springfield, and the late Patrick Murphy. Brother of Wendell (Loretta) Murphy, Springfield, Teresa Cardinal (Bernie Sonier), Halifax; Jean (Therin) Neill, Milton and Thelma Murphy (Steven Thomsen), Milton. Uncle of Patrick (Jenn) Murphy, Mark (Kelli) Murphy, Nicole Murphy, Terri Clarke Mason (Tyler), Steven Clarke, Angela (Chad) MacDonald, Jeff (Chelsea) Neill, Haley Thomsen and Blake Thomsen. Predeceased by his brother Alex in infancy, sister and brother-in-law Mary (Jim) Clarke, brother-in-law Brian Cardinal and nephew Corey Murphy. Resting at the Davison Funeral Home Kensington for visitation on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral mass Wednesday at St. James Church, Summerfield, at 2 p.m. Interment in St. James Cemetery.
