It is with great sadness we announce the passing of our loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend.
Arch passed away peacefully at his home on April 18, 2015.
Arch was the son of the late Allan John MacQuarrie and Sarah Isabel (MacInnis).
He was employed at Superior Propane until his retirement.
He was a great storyteller who loved spending time with his grandchildren and enjoyed many summers at the bungalow in Loch Lomond.
Surviving are his wife of 47 years, Dianne (Hoban); daughter, Ann Marie (Bill McCarron); son, Allan MacQuarrie; grandchildren, Jack, Valerie, Ainsley and Alyssa. Also surviving are sisters, Shirley Rutherford, Carol Ann; brothers, John (Bernice), Billy (Elaine), David MacInnis (Linda); as well as brother-in-law, George Hoban; and sister-in-law, Betty Hoban.
Besides his parents, Arch was predeceased by his step-mother, Adeline Hollahan; brothers, John, Allister; and sister, Marge as well as brothers-in-law, Alex Hoban and David Rutherford.
Cremation has taken place.
There will be no visitation or funeral service by request.
