The death occurred peacefully and surrounded by his loving family at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, on Sunday, April 19, 2015, of John Joseph Thibideau of Miscouche, aged 76 years. John was born in Summerside to his late parents Joseph and Angelina (nee DesRoches) Thibideau. Beloved husband of Geralda (nee Blacquiere) Thibideau and loving father of Joanne Dennis and Troy (Karla MacAusland). Also lovingly remembered by his 4 grandchildren Ashley (William), Cody (Christine), Kaitlyn (Shawn) and Tylan, 3 great-grandchildren Tianna, Taylah and Lucca and several nieces and nephews. Survived by his brothers Richard (Joan), Sonny (Brita) and sister Janice (Allan) Parks, sister-in-law Marina Arsenault and brother-in-law Lewis Blacquiere. Besides his parents, John was predeceased by his brother Joseph (in infancy). Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Rd., Summerside, until Wednesday, April 22, then to St. John the Baptist Church, Miscouche, for a funeral mass at 10:30 a.m. Interment to take place in church cemetery at a later date. Donations in John's memory to the Canadian Cancer Society or St. John the Baptist Church would be greatly appreciated.
