Patterson, Allan Charles “Boy”, 57 of Ardoise, formerly of Falmouth, passed away Thursday, April 16, 2015 doing what he loved best which was working in the woods. Born on February 1, 1958 in Windsor, he was the son of the late Reuben and Ellen (Hill) Patterson. Allan worked as a woodsman working for forty-three years in the woods. His grandson, William was the apple of his eye. Allan was a huge Toronto Maple Leafs fan; he loved old cars and also four wheelers. Surviving are his sons, Mitchell, Ardoise; (with whom Allan resided); Ryan, Mount Uniacke; grandson, William and his mother, Jacqueline Strong, Windsor; sister, Vera (James) Ward, Brooklyn; nephew, Jason (Michelle) Ward and their son, Brody, Cheverie. Visitation was held on Monday, April 20, 2015 in Lindsay’s Windsor Funeral Home (902-798-2232) 194 King Street, Windsor. A public graveside service was held on Wednesday, April 22, 2015 at 2 p.m. in St. George’s Anglican Church Cemetery, Upper Falmouth. Rev. Tom Henderson officiating.
