At the Wedgewood Manor, Summerside, on Tuesday, April 21, 2015, of J. Elmer MacLellan, formerly of High St., Summerside, aged 97 years. Born in Grand River, May 15, 1917, son of the late Marshal and Florence (Kilbride) McLellan. Husband of Mary “Ann” (MacLean Buote) MacLellan. Stepfather of Cathy Moase (Donald), Riverview, NB; Allan Buote (Kathleen), Summerside; Gerard - deceased (Sheri) Buote, Summerside; and Grant Buote, Fredericton, NB. Grandfather of Michael Moase, Quebec City, PQ; Katie Moase, Riverview, NB; Karyn Munch, Ottawa, Ont.; Jennifer Summerside; James, Fernie, BC; and Jordanne, Halifax, NS. Great-grandfather of Christopher, Mikala, Ryleigh-Ann, Tristan, Allison and Lorelei. Brother of Rev. Thomas MacLellan, Summerset Manor, Margaret MacLellan, Summerset Manor, and Sr. Louise MacLellan, Mt. St. Mary's, Charlottetown. Pre-deceased by his brothers Joseph and Angus and sisters Alfreda and Lillian. Resting at the Davison Funeral Home, Kensington, for visitation on Wednesday evening from 7-9 p.m. Funeral mass Thursday morning at St. Paul’s Church, Summerside, at 10:30 a.m. Interment later in St. Patrick’s Church Cemetery, Grand River.
