RICKARD, MARJORIE ALICE (KNIGHT)
The passing of Marjorie Alice (Knight) Rickard, wife of Archie Wesley Rickard, occurred on Tuesday, April 21, 2015 at her residence in Kennebec Nursing Home. Born November 1, 1925 in Sussex, England, she was a daughter of the late George and Alice (Millham) Knight.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her sons, Michael (Gail) of Fredericton and Peter (Sylvia) of Ottawa; six grandchildren: Bethany Wood (Dale), Robyn Dean (Joel), Randy Rickard (Patricia), Troy Rickard (Nancy), Dylan Rickard (Vicki), Anna Rickard (Matt Koss); nine great-grandchildren: Lauranna and Kristen Wood, Ariel and Addison Rickard, Spencer and Natasha Dean, Liam and Asher Koss, Jake Rickard; her sister, Muriel Skilton of England; brother-in-law, Reg Saunders of England; as well as several nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her sister, Joyce Saunders and her brother-in-law John Skilton.
Resting at Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424). A funeral service will be held on Saturday at 2pm from Brenan’s Funeral Home Chapel. The family will be receiving visitors being at 1pm. Interment will take place in Ocean View Memorial Gardens.
