JENSEN, JEANNETTE JEAN
The passing of Jeannette Jean (Rioux) Jensen of Fredericton, NB, occurred on Wednesday, April 22, 2015 at York Care Centre, with family present enfolding her hands. Born on May 22, 1924, she was the eldest child of the late Jean and Lina Rioux. Formerly of New Denmark, NB, she was married to the late Lester J. Jensen.
Jeannette is survived by her daughter, CarolSue Nielsen (Sherman) of Fredericton; two sons, John Jensen (JoAnne) of Hay River, NWT and Paul Jensen of New Denmark; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; sister, Reta Demerchant (Allison) of Oromocto and brother, Wilfred Rioux of New Denmark.
She was predeceased by her brother Gilbert Rioux.
A Memorial Service will take place at St. John the Evangelist Church on Saturday, April 25, 2015 at 2 pm with Rev. Canon Jon Lownds officiating. Interment will take place in Maple Grove Cemetery, New Denmark a later date.
