Helen Emily Fillmore, 81, of Indian Mountain, passed away peacefully at The Moncton Hospital on Thursday, April 23, 2015, with her loving family by her side.
Born in Maple Creek, SK, she was the daughter of the late George and Florence (Buchanan) Stevens. Helen retired as a Postal employee and attended Lutes Mountain Church of the Nazarene. She enjoyed sewing, games, making crafts, attending Church and spending time with children, especially her grandchildren.
Helen will be sadly missed by her children, Larry (Kathie) of Moncton, Steven (Judy) of Didsbury, AB, Bruce (June), Eileen Lewis, Judy Duplessis and granddaughter, Karri, whom she raised, all of Moncton; grandchildren, Christi, Brett, Rachelle, Tyler, Patrick, Derrick, Ryan, Kitura, Christopher, Jenna, Kyle and Jordan; several great grandchildren; sister, Eileen Trites (Carl) of Indian Mountain.
A Celebration of Life Service for Helen will be held at the Lutes Mountain Church of the Nazarene (2 Briggs Cross Road) on Wednesday, April 29, 2015 at 1:00 pm with Pastor Dale Thistle officiating. Reception following the service.
