CHEDORE, ILA ELIZABETH
The passing of Ila Elizabeth (Merrill) Chedore of Fredericton, NB, wife of the late Reginald Chedore occurred on Saturday, April 25, 2015 at Shannex Parkland Nursing Home, Fredericton, NB. Born on December 23, 1932 in Green Hill, NB she was the daughter of the late Gilbert and Elsie (Bishop) Merrill.
Ila was a member of Smythe Street Cathedral.
Ila is survived by her daughters, Wendy (David) McKinley of Fredericton, NB and Diane (Andy) Hachey of Edmonton, AB; sons, Neil (Chung) of Edmonton, AB and Daniel (Altenna) of Rusagonis, NB; 12 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; sister, Ella Mae Ward of Fredericton, NB; brothers, Willard Merrill (Kathy) of Charters Settlement, NB, Walter Merrill of Fredericton, NB; sister-in-law, Maxine Merrill of Charters Settlement, NB; several nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents and husband, she was predeceased by her son, Allan Chedore; infant daughter, Donna; sister, Ola Merrill; brother, Elwood Merrill; brother-in-law, Duncan Ward and sister-in-law Hilda Merrill.
Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive on Tuesday, April 28, 2015 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. A Funeral Service will take place at Smythe Street Cathedral on Wednesday, April 29, 2015 at 1 pm with Rev. Verner Drost officiating. Interment will take place in Prince William Cemetery.
