Suddenly at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, the passing of Joan Fraser (nee McAree), of Georgetown Royalty, aged 62 years, occurred on April 26, 2015.
Beloved wife of Richard. Daughter of the late Wilfred and Caroline McAree. Loving mother of Tim (Deanne) and Jeanine (RCAF). Cherished grandmother of Tori and Dexter. Joan is also survived by brothers and sisters, Robert (Leona) McAree, Blanche (Terri) Eqbal, Jean (Fred) Bradley, Leonard McAree, Mabel (Gary) Bates, Eileen (Roy) Gallant, Frank (Florence) McAree, Laura (Ron) Gotell, Ruth (John) Dover, Viola (Brian) MacKinnon, Pauline (wayne) MacIntyre, Johnny (Henrietta) McAree, Florence (Aeon) McAree.
Besides her parents Joan is predeceased by sister, Theresa (Gordon) Prouse, and brothers, Edward (Shirley) McAree and Herbert (Elaine) McAree.
Resting at Ferguson Logan Montague Funeral Home, with visiting hours held on Tuesday from 6 to 9 p.m. Funeral Mass to be held on Wednesday, time to be announced.
