At the Prince County Hospital, Summerside on Sunday, April 26, 2015 of John G. "Jack" Henderson, of Margate, aged 91 years. Veteran of the Second World War.
Born in Margate September 2, 1923, son of the late Fred and Lila (Whitehead) Henderson.
Husband of the late Eunice (Campbell) Henderson. Father of Gregg Henderson, Janet (Leith) Waite and Joy (Elwin) Sharpe. Grandfather of Paul (Heather) Clark, John (Anne) Clark, Gregg (Susan) Clark, Allison (Rob) MacLaurin, Martina (Sean) Drake and Levi Sharpe (Rebecca Mallett). Great-grandfather of Nathan Clark, Connor Sharpe, Alex Clark, Addison Clark, Griffin Clark and Ryan Richard. Brother of Dot Toombs. Also survived by his special friend, Stella Boswall.
Predeceased by his brothers, George, Wallace, Duncan, Bill and David and his sister, Enid Bernard.
Resting at the Davison Funeral Home, Kensington, for visitation on Tuesday evening from 6:30-9 p.m. Funeral Wednesday in the Davison Funeral Home Chapel at 10:30 a.m. Interment in the Margate Cemetery.

Comrades of Lt. Col. E.W. Johnstone Branch #9, Royal Canadian Legion will hold a veteran's tribute service at the funeral home Tuesday evening at 6:15 p.m.
