DONOVAN, LEONA
Leona Eileen Donovan passed away on April 25, 2015 at Church of St. John and St. Stephen Nursing Home. Born on December 7, 1923 she was a daughter of the late Jeremiah and Ella Susan (Nickerson) Donovan.
Eileen worked at the Dry Dock in the time office during WW II and then after the war she worked for the Red Cross. Then moving to Ontario and work there for the Provincial Government until retiring.
Surviving are her brother, William L Donovan, Hampton and sister, Ruth E. Rugulies, Edmonton; several nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents she was predeceased by her brothers, Murray D. Donovan, John R. Donovan and Gerald A. Donovan.
Resting at Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, NB (634-7424) with visiting on Wednesday, April 29, 2015 from 10:30am until the time of the funeral. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, April 29, 2015 at 12:00 pm from Brenan’s Funeral Home Chapel.
