Peacefully at Clinton View Lodge, Clinton, on Tuesday, April 28, 2015 of Velma Isabel Paynter, formerly of New Annan, aged 95 years.
Born in Freetown January 11, 1920, daughter of the later Frank and Mary (Jardine) Reeves.
Wife of the late Archibald Paynter. Survived by her grandchildren, Jody (Chris) Howard, Derrick (Katelyn) Curley and great-granddaughter, Avery Howard. Aunt of Farrell (Kate) Reeves, Joan Reeves, Judy (Gary) MacGregor, Marjorie Ellis, Vicky (Eric) Proctor, Marilyn Reeves, Carol Henderson, Faye Wade and Glen Henderson. Also survived by her sister-in-law, Jean Paynter, and her children, Wanda, Velda, Garth, Marsha and Darren, as well as many great and great-great-nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by her husband, daughter, Charlotte, grandson, Jamie Curley, and brothers, Clarence, Cecil and Arthur Reeves.
Resting at the Davison Funeral Home, Kensington for visitation on Thursday from 1-3 p.m. Funeral Friday in the Davison Funeral Home Chapel at 1 p.m. Interment later in Geddie Memorial Cemetery, Spring Brook. Flowers gratefully declined.
