It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Brian Joseph O’Toole, 61, who passed away surrounded by his loving family on April 27, 2015 at the Northside General Hospital.
Born in North Sydney, Oct. 30, 1953, Brian was the son of Anne (Wall/O’Toole) Musgrave of North Sydney and the late Francis O’Toole.
Brian was a member of the Local 92 Laborer’s Union in Alberta. He was an avid outdoorsman who spent many hours fishing and hunting with his buddy Vic.
Surviving, besides his mother and forever in his heart, are his sons, Ryan and Cameron. He was the beloved brother of Edward (Joanne), Marlene (Wayne) Wallace, Kevin (Gary), Theresa, Louie (Laurnice), Elizabeth (Tim) Parsons and Patty (Tina).
Brian was predeceased by his father, Francis O’Toole, his sisters, Jacinta Miles and Linda MacLeod and by his brother Raymond.
There will be no visitation by request. A funeral mass will be held 10 a.m. Friday at St. Joseph Church, North Sydney, with Rev. Patrick O’Neill officiating. Burial will take place at a later date in Holy Cross Cemetery.
Memorial donations may be made to the Palliative Care unit of the Northside General Hospital through the Northside Hospital Foundation.
