GRAHAM, ANNIE MILDRED (MOXON)
With great love and the blessings of her family, we announce the passing of our mom Annie Mildred Graham of Oromocto, NB. Wife of the late Clifford Ray Graham occurred on April 28, 2015 at home surrounded by her loving family. Born on April 27, 1926 at Royal Road, NB a daughter of the late George and Estella Anderson.
Annie was a devoted mother, grandmother, great grandmother and great great-grandmother. She was a retired employee from UNB. Formerly a resident of Maugerville for 65 years, Annie was a member of Maugerville United Baptist Church, Women’s Missionary Society, Country Cousins (Seniors Group) and was actively involved in many church and community functions. Annie was an avid knitter and hand quilted numerous quilts over the years. She enjoyed travelling across Canada and the United States with her late husband Clifford and many trips with family. She enjoyed many camping trips in every corner of the Maritimes.
She is survived by three daughters Joyce deJong of Maugerville, Joanne Boudreau of Fredericton, Nancy (Kelvin) Blackwell of Oromocto; a son Eric (Gwen) Moxon of Maugerville; two step-daughters Alma Oldenburg of Coquitlam and Helen Graham of McLeod Hill Road; four granddaughters; three grandsons; two step-grandsons; 15 great-grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; a sister Jean Elgee of Fredericton; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Besides her husband and parents she was predeceased by grandson baby Spinney, sisters Thelma Dorcas, Gladys Dykeman, Zelda Anderson, Inez Hastings, brothers Elmer and Keith Anderson, her first husband Walter Moxon, sisters-in-law Elva Davis and Ruby Derrick, son-in-law David Boudreau.
Visitation will take place at Bishop’s Funeral Home 540 Woodstock Road on Thursday, April 30, 2015 from 7 to 9 PM and on Friday, May 1, 2015 at the Maugerville United Baptist Church from 1 PM until service time at 3 PM, Pastor Stephen Budd officiating. Interment will be in the Canterbury Cemetery at a later date.
For those who wish remembrances may be made to the Maugerville United Baptist Church, Canadian Cancer Society, NB Heart and Stroke, Alzheimer’s Society or a charity of the donor’s choice would be greatly appreciated by the family.
Honorary pallbearers Charles Harvey, Glen Waugh, Dick Lloyd, Jim Drew, Wayne Robertson and Malcolm Marsden. Active pallbearers are nephews David Dorcas, Roy Dykeman, Myles Anderson, Glenwood Anderson, George Brawn and Evan Elgee.
