Passed peacefully away at St. Clare's Mercy Hospital, surrounded by his loving family, on April 28, 2015, Herbert Wilfred Bishop, age 78. Predeceased by his father Wilfred Bishop; mother Gertrude Bishop (Yetman); and his three brothers and three sisters; as well as sister-in-law Jean Murphy (Baird). He leaves to mourn his devoted wife Anita Bishop (Baird); his daughter: Holly White (Perry); sons: Terry (Sharon), Derrick (Cindy) and Danny (Pamela); as well as his sister Elsie Lesinski; brother-in-law Frank Murphy; and daughter-in-law Jennifer. Also leaving to mourn a large number of grandchildren: Matthew (Denielle), Jessica (Keith), Brittany (Gary), Adam, Ashley (Adam), Devon, Katherine, and Charlotte; and great-grandchildren: Eric and Nixon; as well as a large circle of other family and many friends. Resting at Barrett's Funeral Home, 73 Commonwealth Avenue, Mount Pearl from 7-9 p.m. on Wednesday, and from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. on Thursday. Cremation to follow the visitation. Funeral Mass will take place at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday, May 2, 2015 at Mary Queen of the World Parish. Interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre.
