It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of our brother, Twan, 65, at home on Sunday, April 26, 2015.
Born in Glace Bay, he was the son of the late Thomas and Angeline (Brunet) McDonald.
Twan loved laughter and enjoyed sharing funny stories. He was an avid Montreal Canadiens fan.
He will be sadly missed by his brothers, Thomas, Raymond, Edmond McDonald; sisters, Hanna Young, Catherine Parsons, Germaine McDonald, Rosella Murphy, Annie Smith, nieces and nephews.
Twan was predeceased by his sisters, Rose Roberts, Julia Anderson, Anne Lannon, Angeline McDonald, Mary Murphy and four brothers in infancy.
Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held on Saturday morning at 9 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 10 a.m., both in V.J. McGillivray Funeral Home, 16 Reserve St., Glace Bay.
Fr. Norman MacPhee officiating. Interment at a later date in St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Reserve Mines.
