DUBEE, JOSEPH WILLIAM
With heavy hearts, the family of Joseph William Dubee announce his peaceful passing on Thursday, April 29, 2015 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Saint John, NB, on March 5, 1950, he is the son of the late John and Doris (Walton) Dubee.
Joe worked for Shoppers Drug Mart for more than 20 years in delivery services until his health forced him to retire in 2014. Joe was a sports fan and loved to play baseball in his earlier days. He also enjoyed a good game of cards, pool and darts. He was a member of the Adanac Club and the Main Brace Legion. Joe was quiet and hard-working and he will be missed by many.
Joe is survived by his son Sean Dubee (Connie) of Glace Bay, NS; brothers Jack Walton, Alphonse Walton (Dianne), Bob Dubee (Betty), Pat Dubee (Cecilia) and Harold Dubee (Brenda); his only sister Fayette “Faye” Clawson; uncle Bob Creamer, all of Saint John and surrounding area; grandchildren Daniel, Gennie, Cassidy, Dawson and Madyson, as well as several extended family and friends.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his sister-in-law Patsy Walton and granddaughters Kaytlyn and Rebecca in infancy.
Arrangements entrusted to Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road (646-2424) with visiting Friday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm. A Funeral Service will be held Saturday, May 4, 2015 from Fundy Funeral Home Chapel at 1 pm. Interment will be held in St. Joseph’s Cemetery at a later date.
Donations in Joe’s memory made to the Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated.
