Christine Ann “Chris" Fage

1963-2015
The death of Christine Ann Fage, 51, of Amherst and formerly of Saint John, NB occurred, with her sister Lois at her side, at the Cumberland Regional Health Care Centre on Monday, April 27, 2015 after a lengthy illness. Born June 23, 1963, Chris was a daughter of Harold and the Late Jennie (Berry) Fage.
Chris had been a devoted employee to Zellers in Amherst and Saint John for over 32 years and still participated in the bi-weekly coffee club. She loved her family and enjoyed time with her many nieces and great nephew. She had a passion for travel and looked forward to her yearly trips to Cuba with Lois and the girls.
She will be dearly missed by her father, Harold Fage of Amherst; sisters, Lois Fage, Amherst and Margaret VanSnick, Amherst; a brother Stephen (Kim McGill-Ford), of Amherst; nieces, Kirsten & Taylor Richard, Shaelyn, Samantha and Savannah Fage, as well as a great nephew, Bronson Elliott.
Chris was predeceased by her mother, Jennie, in April of this year; as well as her paternal grandparents, Rae and Anne Fage and maternal grandparents, Leonard and Davida Berry and her good friend Jennifer Boone.
Arrangements for Chris are under the care and guidance of Furlong~Jones Funeral Home, 70 Church Street, Amherst, from where a time of visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 29, 2015 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. A funeral service will take place from the funeral home on Thursday at 11 am. Pastor Jonathan Cole presiding.
Donations in memory of Chris may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
