1930-2015
Violet Palmer passed away peacefully at The K.E. Spencer Home on April 29, 2015, at the age of 84.
Born in Lower Cove, NS, she was the daughter of the late William and Rosenne Brown.
Violet is survived by her loving Husband Edward of 65 years. Beloved mother to Billy, late David, Aaron, Kevin, Fonda (David) Dunston, Karen (Luc) Duchesne; siblings Edith, late Robert, Clifford, late Austin, Sonny, Donnie, and Shirley. Violet will also be missed by her grandchildren; Rodney, Isabelle, Eddie, Andrew, Erika, Matthew, Benjamin, Leeland(Boo); as well as her great grandchildren; Tye, Brandon, Carter, Kia ,as well as many nieces and nephews.
The family would like to thank the caring staff on the Evergreen wing at the Spencer home for all of the love and attention Violet received during her time there.
A memorial service celebrating Violet’s life will be held in the chapel of Fair Haven Funeral Home on Monday, May 4, 2015 at 2:00pm. A reception will follow in the Garden View Room.
Interment will be in Fair Haven Memorial Gardens.
