Hugh Jardine LeDrew

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Hugh Jardine LeDrew announce his sudden passing on Tuesday, April 28, 2015 at the age of 74 years.
Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories, his wife Edwina; his stepdaughter, Wendy (Paul), Sydney and grandchildren, Megan, Stephen and Jordan; brothers, Peter (Dale), Tim (Maria); brother-in-law, Ralph Rumbolt and a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives, friends, and his best friend, Buddy, who was at his side all the time.
He was predeceased by his parents, Ted and Berenice (Jardine) LeDrew; brothers, Ted, Fred, Larry in infancy and sister, Margaret ‘Peggy’ Rumbolt.
He will be cremated at his request at T.W.Curry Parkview Chapel, Sydney, N.S. At a later date, there will be a service and a reception to honour Hugh’s life, in Corner Brook, Nfld.
We, his family, are so grateful to Drs. Campbell, Brake and Miller; the doctors and nurses at the Emergency Dept. and the 4th Floor staff of the Cape Breton Regional Hospital, Sydney for the good treatment of Hugh LeDrew while under their care. Also, we want to thank the care given to him at the Cape Breton Heart Lung Wellness Center.
As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to the SPCA or to a charity of one’s choice.
