PRICE, VIRGINIA A.
“Ginny” A. Price, 73, of Moncton, passed away peacefully at The Moncton Hospital on Thursday, April 30, 2015.
Born in Saint John, she was the daughter of the late Frederick and Catherine (Hay) Knowlton. Ginny was formerly employed by the Royal Bank, Agriculture Canada and was retired from Purolator.
Ginny has been a member of St. James Church choir since 1986, member of the Altar Guild and also Treasurer of St. James Court, a non profit housing group for single parents. She was an accomplished water colour artist and a member of both the Moncton and Shediac Art Societies. She also loved playing bridge.
Ginny will be sadly missed by her sons, Charles Mason and Stuart Price (Myrna), both of Moncton; granddaughter, Chantal Arsenault; sisters, Mary Lutes (Jim) of Riverview and Margaret Hopps (Bill) of Bolton Est, PQ; several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her first husband, Norman “Dutch” Mason and her second husband, Sgt. John Price; infant twin daughters and son, Christopher Price.
In keeping with Ginny’s wishes, there will be no visitation hours. Funeral Service at St. James Anglican Church, 101 Fairview Drive, on Monday, May 4, 2015 at 11:00 am, with Rev. Rod Black officiating. Reception in the Church Hall following the service. Interment, Elmwood Cemetery, later in the spring.
