Colin McLeod

MCLEOD: Colin Robert was born on July 16, 1941 in Cabri, SK to Howard & Beth McLeod. The eldest of four children, he was soon joined by twin brothers Brian & Bruce and a sister Joy. Colin grew up in Cabri until the family moved to Stettler, AB, where he graduated grade 12. After highschool Colin joined the Canadian Air Force where he furthered his education and became a chartered accountant. When he wrote his CA exam he had the highest mark in Canada for that year. During his years with the Air Force he worked on bases in Cold Lake & Penhold AB, Winnipeg, MB Barry, Ontario and eventually Moose Jaw SK where he retired after 21 years of service. His time with the Air Force also took him abroad when he worked in Isreal for six month. Though his time there gave him a chance to travel & sightsee in Europe he was very happy to come home and "get his feet back on Canadian soil." Colin had a passion for all sports. There wasn't a sport he didn't understand and enjoy following. He was an avid Moose Jaw Warriors fan and faithfully attended games for many years. He, like his mother was a true cat lover and always had one for a companion. Colin had a sharp mind, a soft heart and a warm chuckle. Colin was predeceased by his parents Howard & Beth McLeod; his sister Joy Nelson; and his sister-in-law Jean McLeod. Colin is survived by his brother Brian (Marlene) McLeod and their children, Sherry (Kevin) Krahn and their children Brandon and Jenna (Reiley), and Brad (Bonnie) McLeod and daughter Brooklyn; his brother Bruce McLeod and his sons Steven (Denise) Reynolds and their children Nicholas and Michael, Colin (Sue) Reynolds and their children Rachael, Kelly, Laurabeth and Sarah, Neil (Sandy) Reynolds, Paul (Jayne) Reynolds and their son Joe; nephew Wes (Kelly) Goddard and their children Kristine (Jamie) Ohara and Ali Goddard; neice Teresa (Mike) McNeil and their children Lyndsay (Shawn) Fraser and their family, Mickey McNeil, and Casey (Wade) Johnson; his aunts Elenor McLeod, Hazel McLeod, Jean Lines; and his uncle Coghill; and many cousins.
