Passed peacefully Wednesday, May 6, 2015 at the Palliative Care Centre of Charles MacPherson of Charlottetown, age 69 years.
Beloved husband of Bernice (nee Peters), loving stepfather of Shane MacDonald (Jo-ann Boulanger), Lillian Cheverie, Randy MacDonald (Shelly Jackson) and Scott MacDonald (Sharon Winters). Charles will be lovingly remembered by his 4 step grandchildren; brothers - Donald, Wayne, Blair and Gary MacPherson; and sisters - Mary Gorvette, Jean Doiron, Margie Compton, Christine Wilson and Alice Grim.
He was predeceased by his parents, Angus and Marion May (nee Purchase) MacPherson; sister, Lois Murphy; brother, Alvin MacPherson; and step grandson, Devin Bernard.
Resting at Hillsboro Funeral Home, 2 Hollis Ave., for visitation Friday, May 8, 2015 from 5-8 p.m. A funeral service will be held Saturday, May 9, 2015 at the Stratford Chapel, Hillsboro Funeral Home at 3 p.m. Interment will follow later at the Sherwood Cemetery.
As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations to the Salvation Army would be appreciated.
