TONGE, DORIS LILLIAN
Doris Lillian Tonge (nee Kelly), beloved wife, mother and grandmother, passed away on May 8th, 2015 at Rocmaura Nursing Home. Born on February 14, 1929 in Campbellton, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Clara (Hierlihy) Kelly.
Doris was predeceased by her husband of 66 years, Harold. Surviving are her children Karen Gibbons (Glen), Rothesay; Thomas Tonge (Sharon), Quispamsis; Robert Tonge (Glenda), Hampton; Janet Forbes (Douglas), Rothesay; Peter Tonge (Nancy), Winnipeg; sisters-in-law Jean Lovegrove (Ivan) and Joan Tonge, Quispamsis; 10 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
Nan to Scott and Christopher Tonge (Meredith) & Shannon McCarthy (Scott); Stephen Gibbons (Leslie) & Pamela Foster (Mark); Keltie (Samara) & Alison Tonge (Danya); Ryan, Kyle (Vanessa) and Duncan Forbes. Great grandmother to Brooke, Jack, Rhys, Gage, Kaitlin, Samantha, Carter, Logan, Ava and Marley.
At Doris' request, there will be no visitation. A private family service will be held at Fernhill Cemetery.
