It is with heavy hearts we announce the death of Christa Nyenhuis on May 8, 2015 at the Oromocto Public Hospital. Born in Lahr, Germany on February 23, 1957, she was the daughter of the late Richard and Johanna (Siefert) Volk.
Christa leaves behind her husband, Johan Nyenhuis of Oromocto, NB; sons, Bernd Himmelsbach of Germany, Markus (Elizabeth) Himmelsbach of Georgia, Christiaan Nyenhuis of Oromocto, NB, and Andy Nyenhuis of Oromocto, NB; siblings, Gabriele “Gabi” (Willy) Blage (Siefert) of Germany, Klaus Volk of Belleville , ON, Elke (Edgar) Schäfer (Volk) of Germany, Ralf (Sabine) Volk of Germany, Birgit (Alfred) Peters (Volk) of Ottawa, ON, and Reiner (Kirsten) Volk of Germany. Christa will also be missed by her only grandson, Richard and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Christa is predeceased by her brother, Bernd Volk.
