PINE TREE - L. Ferne MacLeod, 73, Pine Tree, passed away peacefully Sunday, May 10, 2015 in the Aberdeen Hospital, New Glasgow.
Born in Telford, she was a daughter of the late Alexander “Alex” and Catherine Mae “Cassie” (Browning) Woolley.
She was co-owner/operator of A&F Catering for a number of years. Ferne had also worked in various business in the county. She was a loving, wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend.
Surviving are husband of 53 years, Ernest “Ernie”; daughter, Glenda MacLeod (Darrell Wilcox), Lwr. Barney’s River; Elden MacLeod (Marie Boutlier), Blue Mountain; Sheldon (Julie) MacLeod, Telford; grandchildren, Chantal, Melissa, Jenelle, Jamie, Kyle and Brittney; three great–grandchildren; sister, Mariena Whidden, Trenton; sister–in-law, Martha Woolley, Telford; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her brother, Locke Woolley.
There will be no visitation by Ferne's request. A private graveside service will be held in Telford Cemetery.
