We mourn the passing and celebrate the life of Martin E. Meadus, of New Perlican, formerly of Greenspond, who succumbed to illness on May 10th at Carbonear Hospital, at the age of 86. Martin was the son of Clara and Martin Meadus and leaves to mourn with loving memories his wife of 61 years Naomi, daughter Linda, son Fred and his wife Colleen. Grandchildren Penney Legge, Andrew Legge, Ryan Connolly and Madeline Meadus. Great grandchildren Ryanne and Calleigh (Ontario), Jack and Maiha (British Columbia) Kyle, Kegan, Keish and Kruz (Labrador). Martin was a member of the Independent Order of Odd Fellows (I.O.O.F) and Past Master of Masonic Lodge Heart's Content #1275. Martin is resting at Green's Funeral Home, Winterton. Visitation Monday 2:00 - 4:00 and 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. Tuesday 10:00 - 11:30 a.m. Funeral service will take place on Tuesday at 2:00 p.m. from St. Augustines Anglican Church, New Perlican. No Flowers by request but rather donations may be made to St. Matthews United Church P.O. Box 127, New Perlican, A0B 2S0.
