It is with extremely heavy hearts that the family of the late Annie Park announce her passing at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital Palliative Care Unit on Monday, May 11, 2015 in her 77th year. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories, daughters: Mary Jane (Jim), Mary (Kelso), Marion, and Patricia (Shawn); sons: Eric (Kim), Gerald (Maria), Patrick (Angela), John, Gordon (Carol-Ann), and Bill (Crystal), as well as 20 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren and a very special friend Andrew Young. Also leaving to mourn, her sisters: Lucy (Harry), Rose (Joe), Kay, and Dot (Wade); brother Jack and special sister in law Edna Kearney; as well as a large circle of nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends. Annie was predeceased by her two loving daughters, Marie (2008) and Veronica (2015), her husband Gerald Park (1996), mother Catherine Kearney, father John "Jack" Kearney, brothers Bill, Jack, and Pat, and many other family members and friends. The family would like the thank the staff at the Intensive Care Unit and the Palliative Care Unit for the special care they provided to our mother over the past week. Friends may visit Country Haven Funeral Home 167 Country Road on Wednesday 2-4 and 7-9 pm. The Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Thursday, May 14, 2015 at 10:30 a.m. from the Cathedral of the most Holy Redeemer, Mt. Bernard Avenue, with Father Ambrose Hynes officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Patricia Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, flowers are graciously accepted or donations may be made to Most Holy Redeemer Parish.
