It is with heavy hearts that the family of the late Mary Grace Blanchard announces her passing on Tuesday May 11, 2015, at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital in Corner Brook, NL, in her 80th year. Mary leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her daughter: Geraldine (Garry) Osmond, her son: Leander Thomas (Nancy) Blanchard, granddaughter: Melanie(Adam) Osmond, step granddaughter: Sarah Curtis, step great-granddaughter Lissa, brother: John (Ruby) Blanchard and brother-in-law Francis Gale. Mary has been predeceased by her loving husband Abraham Blanchard, her parents: Leander and Lillian Blanchard, brothers: Clarence Blanchard, Luke Blanchard, sisters: Elizabeth Gale, and daughters: Margaret Rose, Maxine Blanchard. Mary also leaves to mourn a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. The family will be receiving relatives and friends from the Anglican Church in Hampden, NL, on Wednesday, May 13, 2015, from the hours of 2-4 and 7-9 pm. The funeral service will take place from The Church of the Epiphany - Anglican Church in Hampden on Thursday, May 14, 2015 at 2 pm, and the internment will follow at the Anglican cemetery at the Rooms. As an expression of sympathy flowers are graciously accepted or donations can be made to the Cancer or Heart and Stroke Foundations.
