It is with sadness that we announce the passing of our sister, aunt and friend, Maureen McNeil on Friday, May 8 at the Glace Bay Hospital.
Born in Glace Bay, she was a daughter of the late Lawrence and Beatrice (Sullivan) McNeil.
She is survived by her sister, Mary and aunt, Dorothy McNeil; many nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her brothers, Lonnie and Francis Joseph.
There will be no visitation at her request. The family will have a private service at Curry’s Glace Bay Funeral Home, 775 Main St. The interment will be at St John’s Cemetery at a later date.
