DAYE, BERTHA ANNIE
Bertha Annie Daye, 96, of Moncton, passed away peacefully at The Moncton Hospital on Tuesday, May 12, 2015. Born in Hazeldean, NB, she was the daughter of the late Albert and Matilda (Cormier) Arsenault.
Bertha was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother and sister.
Bertha will be sadly missed by her son, Gary Daye (Gabrielle) and daughters, Sandra Phillips, Nellie Dietrich, Ida Riddick and Susan Gillis; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; sisters, Sylvia Ostrynski and Clara Arsenault; several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Hezekiah Daye; sons, David, James, John and Tom; brothers, Mark, Emile, Abel and Fred; sisters, Florence, Regina, Mae and Louise.
In keeping with Bertha’s wishes, there will be no visitation hours or funeral service. Fergusons Funeral Home, 1657 Mountain Road, Moncton (858-1995) in care of arrangements.
If so desired, donations in Bertha’s memory can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or a memorial of the donor’s choice.
