Margaret Joan (nee Groves)
Passed peacefully away on Wednesday, May 13th, 2015 in the presence of her loving family at the St. John's Long Term Care Facility, Margaret Joan Pippy, age 72 years. Predeceased by her parents, Frank and Annie Groves; brother, Richard Groves (Mary deceased). Leaving to mourn her loving husband of 54 years, William; three sons: William (Susan), Frank (Margaret) and Stephen (Sharon); her three cherished grandchildren: Matthew, Stephanie and Andrew; two sisters: Violet McDonald (Dermot deceased) and Carol Ann Costello (Robert); sisters-in-Law Loraine Arnold (Roy), Sylvia Pippy, Doris LeGrow (Cecil), Karen Wall (Gary); brothers-in-Law, Earnest Pippy (Kay), Ruben Pippy (Dolly), Melvin Pippy; also many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. A Special thank you to the wonderful Doctors, Nurses, and Care Attendants of the 4th Floor North-East at St. John's Long Term Care Facility. Cremation has taken place. The family will be receiving visitors at Carnell's Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Road from 2-9 p.m. Thursday, May 14th. Funeral service will take place on Friday May 15th, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. from the Carnell Memorial Chapel. Inurnment to follow in the Memorial United Church Cemetery, Bauline Line, Pouch Cove. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the Children's Wish Foundation or a charity of one's choice.
