It is with great sadness that the family of the late Pious Robert Keough announces his passing at the Western Memorial Hospital in Corner Brook on Tuesday, May 12, 2015 at the age of 80 years. Pious leaves to mourn his children: Cassie (Rob), Lee (Laura), Marlene (Wayne), Michael (Sonia) and Thomas (Jeannie), his grandchildren: Susan (Justin), Bobby (Danielle), Clayton (Melissa), Christopher (Tammy), Carissa (Mike), Olivia, Jesse, Jamie (Candida), Sherri (Shawn), Timmi (Adam), Tony, Amanda (Jon), Kyle, Austin, Kevin, Nicholas, Baby Clayton, Hunter, Katelynn, and Jennifer, his great-grandchildren: Marcus, Cameron, Hannah, Natalie, Georgia, Sarah, Haley, Nathan, Jordan B., Noah, Jordan, Bella, Cash, Pacey, Lilly, and Jorden R., his siblings: Edith (Austin), Mae, Anne, Douglas (Liz), Earl (Marina), Frazer (Lillian), Trevor (Theresa), Roger (Sharon), Lewis (Nina), and Murray (Stephanie). Pious also leaves to mourn, special friends Harold Eaton, Wayne (Carla) Parsons, Jack (Verna) Verge, Gene (Nina) Manning, Ben (Beverly) Davenport, Jim (Sandi) Diamond, and Sean O'hara as well as his very special hunting buddy Humphrey (Lillian) Patey, and home care workers: Edith Keough, and daughter-in-law Jeannie Keough. Pious was predeceased by his loving wife Julie, his mother Kathleen, father Clayton, and brother-in-laws Harrison Coles, and Warren Tuck, his nephews Rodney and Stephen Keough, and niece Tanna Patey. The family will be receiving relatives and friends on Thursday, May 14, 2015, from the hours of 2-4 and 7-9 pm continuing Friday, May 15, from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at the Roman Catholic Church in Parsons Pond. With the funeral service on Saturday at 2 pm, and the internment will follow at the Roman Catholic Cemetery in Parsons Pond.
