NICKERSON, James Anthony, 76, Clam Point, Shelburne County passed away Monday, May 11, 2015 in the QEII Halifax Infirmary. Born in Villagedale on July 26, 1938, he was the son of the late Arthur Nickerson and Marguerite (Albert) Smith. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. He is survived by wife, Helen Vautour; daughter, Cheryl (Tim) Richard, Halifax; sons, James (Angie) Nickerson, Clam Point; Michael Nickerson, Alberta; step-daughter, Denise (Danny Sarard) Vautour, Jonquiere, Quebec; grandchildren, Nicholas, Felicity, Joshua, Laurie, Peter, Danicks, Amelia; great-grandchild, Jackson; sister Agnes (Johnny) Abbott; brother, Eugene (Rose) Nickerson. He was predeceased by brother, Calvin. There will be a visitation on Friday, 7-9 p.m. in H.M. Huskilson’s Funeral Home, Barrington. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 16, at 2 p.m. in the H. M. Huskilson’s Memorial Chapel, Barrington, with Pastor Wayne Crowell officiating.
