It is with sincere sadness that the families of Mrs. Ella Myrtle Moores announce her peaceful passing at the Boone Bay Hospital on Saturday, May 15th, 2015, at the age of 100 years. Ella lived a full life enjoying family and friends. Ella leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her daughter Rhoda (David) of Triton, her brother Art (Beulah) Simmons of Deer Lake, her daughter-in-law Gladys Moores of Brampton, Ontario, her grandsons: Dennis, Randy (Gale), Rod (Juanita), Blair (Cindy), Blendon (Rhonda), Lisa (Paul), Melanie (Sheldon), and Melissa (Robert), her foster granddaughters: Ruth, Gloria and Denise, 14 great grandchildren and home care workers. Ella also leaves to mourn a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Ella has been pre-deceased by her loving husband Charlie, son Fredrick, her sisters: Lucy, Eva, Flora, and her brothers: Les and Charlie. The family received relatives and friends from Shoal Brook United Church in Shoal Brook, NL, on Sunday, May 17, 2015, from the hours of 7-9 pm, and again on Monday, May 18th, from the hours of 2-4 & 7-9 pm. The funeral service took place from the Shoal Brook United Church on Tuesday, May 19, 2015, at 2 pm with Reverend Larry Noseworthy officiating and the burial will follow at the church cemetery.
