Peacefully and surrounded by her loving family at Beach Grove Home on Friday, May 15, 2015, of Lucy Murnaghan (nee Curran) of Tarantum, age 100 years. Beloved wife of the late Rudolph Murnaghan and loving mother of Francis (Ann), Bertram (Joanne), Anna MacLeod (Ewen) and Paul. Lucy is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband - Dolph; brother - Bert Curran; and sisters - Mary MacEachern, Florence Murnaghan and Anna Jay.
Resting at Hillsboro Funeral Home, 2 Hollis Ave., Stratford, for visitation on Tuesday, May 19, 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, May 20 at St. Patrick’s Church, Fort Augustus, at 10:30 a.m. Interment will follow at the church cemetery.
As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations to St. Patrick’s Cemetery Fund or Beach Grove Home Recreation and Activities Department would be appreciated.
CWL will hold a prayer service at the funeral home on Tuesday at 6:30 p.m.
