Passed away suddenly on Friday, May 15, 2015 Barbara Oates of Gander, formerly of Clarenville aged 87 years. Predeceased by her husband Bill Oates and brother Adrian Quinton. Left with fond and loving memories her sister Wilma Pond of Gander; sister-in-law Dorothy Quinton of Princeton; nieces Lorna Luther (Pat), Dana (Paul) Baggs; nephews Ivan (Cathy) Quinton, Noel (Jennifer) Pond; grandnieces Deanne (A.J.) Zawislak, Terri Luther, Samantha Baggs, Abigail & Kate Pond,; grandnephews Jason (Jamie) Luther, Damien (sons Colby and Ryder) Quinton and a large circle of family and friends. Rested at Fewer’s Funeral Home, Clarenville. Funeral service took place on Thursday, May 21, 2015 at St. Mary’s Anglican Church, Clarenville with interment at the United Cemetery, Church Hill, Clarenville. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the Shriner’s Hospital for Children.
