Eleanor Grace Parker, age 88, of Newport Station, Hants County, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, May 20, 2015 at Haliburton Place, Windsor, where she has been a resident for the last nine years. Born on June 28, 1926, in Newport Station, Hants County, Nova Scotia, she was the daughter of the late Vernie and Maude (Riley) Crowell. She is survived by her son, Wayne (Joyce), Newport Station; her sister, Dorothy Rhodes, Currys Corner; several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Aubrey Joseph Parker (2002); sister, Marjorie Sanford; brother, Ernest Crowell. Cremation has taken place under the care of Lindsay’s Windsor Funeral Home, 194 King St., P.O. Box 2218, Windsor, B0N 2T0. A graveside service was held at 2 p.m. Friday, May 22, 2015, at the Ste. Croix Cemetery, St. Croix. The Rev. Garnet Parker officiated, followed by a reception in the Lindsay Family Reception Centre.
