It is with great sadness that the family of the late Pearl Gabriel announce her passing at the Sir Thomas Roddick Hospital in Stephenville on Wednesday, May 19th, 2015 at the age of 87 years. She will be sadly missed by her three sons: Robert Gabriel in Halifax, Peter (Madonna) Gabriel in Kippens, Wade Gabriel (Lorna Gillis) in Manitoba, her four daughters: Delores (Jerry) Blackwood in Spokane Washington, Lythia (Greg) Keeley in Stephenville, Phyllis (Rudy) Hibbitts in Kippens, Wanda (Bailey) Hibbitts in Cold Brook. Also leaving to mourn her sister Anrena (Mark) Bennett in Kippens, son in law Basil, daughter in law Beverly, 27 grandchildren , 58 great-grandchildren and a large circle of relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her husband Peter Gabriel, her daughters Phyllis Gabriel, Andrena Wiseman, her son John Gabriel, her brother Charles McNeil, sisters Martha McArthur, Doris White, Eileen Gabriel and daughter-in-law Lea. Visitation will take place on Thursday and Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 at Russell's Funeral Home in Stephenville. The funeral service will take place on Saturday May 23rd 2015 at 10 a.m. from St. Stephen's Parish on West Street with interment in the Hillside Interfaith Cemetery.
