It is with great sadness that the family of the late Joan Wells announce her passing on Wednesday, May 20th, 2015 from the Western Memorial Regional Hospital in Corner Brook at the age of 75. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her children: Brenda (Duane) McCarthy, Dianne (Percie) Cullihall, Louise (Fred) Pearson, grandchildren: James, Johnathon, Jennifer, Jeremy, Alex, great grandchildren: Matthew, Jaret, Kenzie, Jayden, Ciarra, Zachary, Alexis, sisters and brothers: Audrey Rideout, Sylvia (Fred) Burton and her sister of the heart Audie Snow, as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her husband James Wells, parents Alexander and Selena Stagg, brother Gordon Stagg and sister Ena King. Friends may visit Fillatre's Funeral Home, 10 Clinic Drive Deer Lake on Saturday from 2-4 and 7-9PM, the funeral service will be held on Sunday, May 24th 2015 from the Salvation Army Citadel in Deer Lake at 2:30PM with Majors Wayne and Betty Ann Pike officiating. Interment to follow at the Non Denominational Cemetery in Cormack. As expressions of sympathy flowers are graciously accepted or donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
