Passed peacefully away at St. Clare's Mercy Hospital, on May 22nd, 2015, surrounded by the love of his family. Pre-deceased by infant daughter Elizabeth, parents Jack (John) and Dolly (Laura) Leaman, son-in-law Robin, brother Sandy(Alexandre), son Calvin (Charlene). Leaving to mourn his wife of 60 years, Joyce (nee Reid), sister Elizabeth Wareham, sister-in-law Doreen. Sons John (Dolarosa) and Chris, daughters Janice (Greg) Hamilton and Karen Green. Grandchildren Laura (Pat) MacDonald, Douglas Hamilton, Jennifer and Heather Green. Born and raised on the Southside, spent many summers with extended family in Petty Hr. He was genuinely proud and connected to his roots and family, which led to his passionate interest as a local historian and genealogical buff. Long-time Federal Government Employee (ESDC). Resting at Barrett's Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Ave, on Saturday, May 23rd, from 7-9 pm, on Sunday, May 24th, 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm.
