Donald Alexander Robertson

With heavy hearts, the family and friends of Donald Alexander Robertson, late of Saskatoon, SK formerly of Weldon, SK, say farewell. Don passed away on May 21, 2015 in Saskatoon, SK at the age of 85 years. Don was born on August 7, 1929, the middle son of Tom and Ida Robertson. Don leaves behind his loving wife of 62 years Hazel; his daughters: Donna (Wally), and Judi (Kevin); and his grandchildren: Jason (Darcie) and their children: Alex and Austin; Jordan, Sarah (Dylan) and Nicole. Don made a loving home for his family on the farm at Weldon, a quarter mile from where he grew up. He loved his farm life and would say “There was no life better.” He was a hardworking, honest man, with a fun loving spirit. These memories we will carry in our hearts. Don worked tirelessly for the things he valued. These were his family, his neighbors, and his community and church. We will all miss him. A Memorial Service for Don will be held on Friday, May 29, 2015 – 2:00 pm, Messiah Lutheran Church, 1796 - 15th Ave. E., Prince Albert, SK with Pastor Iris Kristjansdottir officiating. Interment to follow in the Weldon Cemetery. In lieu of other tributes, donations may be mad in memory of Don to the Weldon Lutheran Cemetery, Box 174, Weldon, SK S0J 3A0.
