GRANTER
Elaine Mary Edna
Elaine was granted her angel wings on May 22nd 2015 at the age of 33. Born September 21, 1981. Elaine passed away suddenly, after a life long battle with a mental illness. Elaine will forever be remembered for her gentle, kind, loving soul. She helped many, cared for many and loved as many in such a beautiful selfless way. Through every dark cloud, storm, and rainy day, Elaine always held her head high and smiled through the all of her pain. She loved to make others laugh and was considered such "a card" as many would say and remember. There are no words to describe how much she was loved and will be missed. As a daughter. A sister. A niece and an aunt and so much more! It has and forever will be, life's greatest gift to have known and loved Elaine. She truly is taking a piece of all of our hearts with her as she spreads her wings and flys to the heavens above. Elaine is predeceased by her grandparents Mary and James Granter. Her grandfather Gerard Hanlon. Uncle Wallace Hanlon. And special family friend Michael Hanlon. Leaving to mourn her devoted loving parents Anthony and Linda Granter. Loving nanny Edna Hanlon Sisters Crystal (Quinton), Melissa Lynn, brother Tony Granter (Megan). Special nieces Madison and Alexis. Adoring nephews Devon Joshua and Jaxson. And also a very large circle of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Elaine will be residing at Barrett's funeral home 73 commonwealth avenue, Mount Pearl, on Tuesday, May 26th, from 7:00pm-9:00pm. Memorial service to be held at Barrett's Chapel on Wednesday, May 27th, at 2:00pm. In lieu of flowers, we ask that donations, in honour of Elaine be made to the Canadian Mental Health Association. Please visit www.barretts.ca to sign the memorial guest book.

"Although our lives journeys
Have bid us to be apart,
I am with you, you are with me,
Always in our hearts "

We love you forever,
a day and a minute.
